How Do Linear Drains Work?

Linear drains work by forcing water to flow through the drain and into the spacious channel. These linear drains then force the wet room water into the regular drainage system.

How To Install Linear Shower Drains?

There are a few different ways of installing linear shower drains. Here at Wetroomstop, we provide linear drain kits to make the installation as simple as possible. Thanks to our linear drain kits, it simply becomes a matter of installing the pre-built set, connecting it to your existing drainage system and ensuring the sloped floor feeds water into the linear drain.

All our linear drains, when installed correctly, are watertight, and ensure that all wet room water flows directly into the drainage system.

Are Linear Drains Better Than Traditional Drains?

Linear drains are significantly better than traditional drains, particularly for showers and wet rooms. They are more reliable, allow more water to be drained and are more resistant to blockages. Linear drains also look better, allowing you to enjoy a clean, modern shower or wetroom.

How To Clean Linear Drains?

Linear drains don't require any special cleaning, beyond the standard cleaning you'd carry out anyway. If you want to ensure that they are as thoroughly cleaned as possible, a thin wire brush is a great way of cleaning around the linear drain's rim.
