Hooking up you linear drain is not difficult. Once you have determined the exact location and depth you want your drain to be at. then all you need to do is connect the waste trap to the existing plumbing system. the McAlpine HC26 has an 1.5" outlet and can be connected to any type of pipe that is that size in diameter. There is no solvent welding necessary as it a compression style slip on connection.
