How far should a linear drain be from the wall?

We recommend leaving around 15cm of space between the linear drain and the back wall. This will leave enough room for you to fit a tile in-between the drain and the wall. It will also look more visually appealing as it wont have a squished look to it.  However, linear drains can be installed elsewhere in the room, particularly in wetrooms.
