When applying tanking tape in your wet room or elsewhere, you need to ensure you press firmly on the tape to completely cover the joint. First apply some tanking liquid to the joint. then start by pressing down firmly at one end, and move down the tape to ensure it is laid down straight without any folds or kinks. Then paint over the tape with the tanking liquid once more to ensure a proper water seal is created. Let dry and apply as second coat of tanking liquid.
